Banjoe Vacations invites you to The Lake Ridge Retreat!

This fully stocked, 3-bedroom, 3-bathroom, private home is your launching pad for everything the area has to offer. This newly renovated getaway is just 15 minutes from downtown. Over the ridge in the other direction is Mount Pisgah, and the Bent Creek Mountain bike area. There is plenty of space to spread out, with two separate living rooms, both with large comfy couches and TVs and plenty of games (including a shuffleboard table!).

The Master bedroom is on the main level with an en-suite bathroom. There is another bedroom and bathroom on that level and the upper level has 2 full-sized beds, a sofa bed, and an additional bathroom. On the lower level is the game room, stocked with a variety of entertaining games, a 65" television, a card table, shuffleboard, and a ping pong table. This area boasts a large sectional sofa, perfect for lounging.

Outside, the serene views from the covered front porch offer a great place to enjoy your morning coffee or an evening cocktail. Surrounded by nature, you will feel like you are miles from civilization.

Our house is in Candler, NC which is a small community just to the west of Asheville, close to the ridge that climbs up to the Blue Ridge Parkway and Mount Pisgah.

Guests have access to the entire house and property.

We are situated at the end of Lake Ridge Road, overlooking our end of the valley.

The house was a new build which I liked. It was very clean! It was in a suburb of Asheville and not too far from the Biltmore and restaurants.

Great time! Karaoke machine a great touch. Cute place and perfect for two families. Driveway a little narrow with gravel.

Great place to stay with a large group. Had everything we needed. An easy drive into Asheville to experience all it has to offer.

Bruce’s was incredible. We loved the space and were quite surprised by it. We booked it on a whim after cancelling plans to Portland, Maine. Reviews and pictures along with close proximity to the Biltmore was all that we needed. Some reviews stated that the driveway was rough but we had no issues getting up the drive. Just a gentle head start is all that was needed to drive up (to be expected with a mountain home). There were no huge holes in the drive either. This place is absolutely perfect for a family, couple, group of friends, etc. We will definitely be back and will recommend this home to anyone traveling to Asheville!

Excellent!!! Driveway needs work!

We had a great stay at the house. It is new, was in a great location, and was spacious for our group. However, the driveway certainly needs some work. There was a large gap/hole as you turned right off the paved road onto the gravel drive. There also were some holes at the top that needed to be filled in. I would strongly recommend driving vehicles that are not low to the ground, and this could be communicated better.

Bruce was very responsive. The home is a gem and very pretty on the inside and out. There was a small issue with leftover trash from the previous occupant. However, Bruce was responsive and ensured that housekeeping rectified the situation swiftly. I truly appreciated this. I would highly recommend that guests drive an all-wheel drive SUV, as there is an extremely steep and unpaved driveway leading to the house. Our Uber drivers had significant difficulty getting up the driveway in their sedans. Overall, a really great location, home and wonderful community. Thanks a bunch Bruce for your attentiveness.

Great house! We loved the games and space for everyone to spread out. Bruce was a great host and communicator. We will definitely book this house again the next time our group is in Asheville.
