Make your vacation eco-friendly by staying in this sweet solar-powered studio. We strive to provide a welcome retreat for guests of all backgrounds.

This 500 square foot studio apartment features clean lines and modern design with 9-foot ceilings and great sunlight from oversized windows during daytime along with blackout shades for a peaceful night's sleep.

Your sleeping area has a king-size Tuft and Needle mattress and a closet for clothes storage. The full private bathroom has a spa-like feel with a walk-in shower with custom tile surround, marble topped vanity and Ginger Lily Farms natural toiletries.

The breakfast bar/beverage area has a small fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee and tea station, and toaster oven. NOTE: there is no kitchen sink, so cooking options are limited. We provide the basics you may need for simple meals in or leftovers such as plates, cups, mugs and utensils.

Relax in the living area on a plush leather sofa and watch your favorite shows on the new Smart TV. Bring your own passwords to sign into your preferred platforms for video and audio streaming. Apple TV is provided as well if you have apple devices to airplay to the TV.

If you are working while visiting Asheville, your job will be easier with our high-speed Wi-Fi, ethernet hookup and laptop friendly workspace.

Enjoy the temperate mountain air on your private patio for two. If you plan to enjoy mountain biking while you are here, take advantage of our bike wash station. We provide off-street parking for one car, just a few level steps from your private entrance.

The Malvern Hills Haven was built with extra soundproofing for privacy, but you may hear some muffled musical instrument practice and some of the sounds of our active family. We will observe- and ask that you observe - quiet hours between 10pm and 7am each day.

You may see us coming and going as our cars are also parked around back and we take our dog out in the yard occasionally (he is never left unsupervised when guests are present), but we will respect your privacy.

Guests have access to their entire studio, porch, and parking area.

We love our location! Though we are only 1.5 miles from the many restaurants, coffee joints, bars and shops on Haywood Road, we enjoy a quieter West Asheville vibe with off-street parking and streets lined with sidewalks for peaceful evening strolls. We are also just 5 miles west of vibrant Downtown Asheville and a mile from access to the major roads that take you to the best state and national forests in our area. We are just 6 miles from Bent Creek Experimental Forest, The NC Arboretum and the Blue Ridge Parkway, ideal destinations for hiking and cycling. Biltmore Estate and Asheville Outlets are merely 6 miles away as well.

Parking on Haywood Road in West Asheville is limited. Generally, look for street parking or turn into a neighborhood and park on one of the side streets. For Downtown parking, we usually head to one of the parking garages if we don't see metered street parking. Biking or to Haywood Road during the day is also an option and is about 1.5 miles. Uber and Lyft operate in our area, and Asheville Taxi is a good option as well, though you would likely need to meet them at the top of our driveway.

Stephanie and Graham and their two children live and work upstairs and have been a part of the Asheville community for several decades. They are happy to share their local knowledge with you. In the suite, they provide a list of some of their favorite places to dine, relax and explore.

We have a sweet rescue dog, Sprocket, who may bark when you arrive. Though his invisible fence encompasses the parking area, he will not be in the backyard unsupervised when guests are present.

We look forward to hosting you at Malvern Hills Haven!

This was our second stay because of the nice accommodations and the close proximity to what we like to do, about 10 minutes. Dark at night and bright during the day, the studio space provides restful sleep in a large, comfortable bed and a big, well appointed living and dining area. It's everything we needed! My only suggestion is to provide more than one set of towels per stay in the summer.

The property was AWESOME! It was quiet, peaceful and serene. There were tons of deer in the backyard so that was pretty cool. Everything was clean—And Bruce was the best host I’ve ever worked with. I’m excited to visit the other properties!

This space was exactly as pictured and in a great residential suburb of Asheville! Only a few minutes to all the breweries and downtown area, easy access to the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the hosts were great. Would definitely recommend this space!
